Practice Gallery is pleased to present revealing presence(s), an exhibition, by Mark Dilks with collaborator Jessi Ray Koch. The show reveals and consists of structures made from dream itineraries, mind-body mapping, physical realities and communion. The imagery on the floor and frameworks comes from daily calendars, medical imaging, and an assortment of collage and paint material. Presented is evidence of an existence and an inventory of the invisible made visible. The exhibition attempts to do a lot while humbly exposing it can only do so much.

Artists' Bios:

Mark Dilks is a multidisciplinary creator and collaborator. As a trained painter with a background in collage, physical touch, materiality, and accumulated sampling play strongly in Mark’s life and work. Sound and Installation mixes frequently occur with other co-conspirators. They have organized happenings, hosted group shows, and created environmental experiences. Ventures in sounds include analog collages, abstract songs and modular synthesizer patches. In May 2023, The Pottery Gym, in Philadelphia, hosted Mark’s first solo painting show, May For by Fours Witness Cherry’s Blossoms Ring.
